I feel honored to be on a team with talented healers and clinicians focused on mind, body and spiritual health. My name is Marisa Moon. I received my Master’s of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Utah and have been working as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) since 2015. I have expertise working with women experiencing domestic violence, suicide prevention, anger management, eating disorders, teens and adults with developmental disabilities, the LBGTQ population, hospice, military personnel, military families, and trauma victims of all kinds. I use Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and many other evidence-based therapies.
I am passionate about helping people become who they want to be by providing tools and education in order to facilitate that process. I believe that mental health is an ongoing process and that all of us are works in progress.
Being a lifetime native of Utah, I enjoy our beautiful state by hiking, paddle boarding and camping whenever possible. I also enjoy a good game of golf (they are all good!) whenever I can get one in. I currently live in Davis County with my husband, son, and two spoiled dogs.
